The organisation was founded in Turku, Finland, on 6th December 1998. The club has been an active part of the Finnish club scene for almost ten years, during which also London has functioned as a base for the activities.
The organisation draws its knowledge and skills from 19 years of experience of taking part in various music events, including group travels abroad. "Millennium" has become one of the industry's most prestigious brands, with an event schedule nearing 70 per year.
Millennium participated the legendary Loveparade in 2006 and is the first and the only Nordic organisation to ever take part in the festival. Their float received more support than Ministry of Sound (UK) and Dj Tiesto, who rarely needs any introduction, and the club resulted in getting the 4th most votes in the global search for participants.
The organisation has also taken part in the annual Sun Dance Music Festival in Tallinn, Estonia, where from 2004 to 2005 over 50,000 people saw the Millennium DJs take over a whole stage for a day, delivering Finland's best up-and-coming talent with the most innovative styles for the thrilled audience.
The club has organised two unforgettable trips abroad in 1999 and 2000, when the original Loveparade was held in Berlin. 150 people joined the crew on their mission to find the next ultimate clubbing experience, and it is this drive that keeps Millennium going year after year.
There are hundreds of organized parties in 15 cities all around Finland with over 200 domestic and tens of foreign artists + club brands such as GODSkitchen and Ministry Of Sound.
Numerous radio and TV interviews and magazine articles have kept the organisation in the public eye, and every year they've succeeded to expand their reach within the global club world in new territories offering new challenges.
